This afternoon in my Theatre Production II class, we were working with some burlap and erosion cloth that we were going to use to cover some platforms for Blood Wedding. We had the Set Construction class with us today, too, so we had tons of knives and scissors. As class was ending, I filled my hands with knives and scissors to take them back to the scene shop. As I was waiting for the elevator, I suddenly had to sneeze really badly. Instictively I started to move my hands toward my face. I quickly realized this was a bad idea as I found myself nose to nose with a handful of sharp objects.
I discovered there are some exceptions to the "cover your face when you sneeze" rule...
